### **Position Overview**  

As the **Sales & Account Team Lead**, you’ll play a critical role in driving sales performance, managing a talented team, and contributing to Takealot.com’s strategic goals. This position reports to the Marketplace Sales Manager.

### **Key Responsibilities**  


- Lead and motivate a sales team to exceed acquisition targets.  

- Develop and execute a strategic acquisition roadmap for various categories.  

- Ensure adherence to sales processes and maintain accurate data on sales platforms.  

- Identify inefficiencies in the sales process and implement improvements.  

- Build and manage dashboards to track productivity metrics.  

- Drive commercial performance and manage interventions to enhance seller outcomes.  

- Foster growth plans for strategic sellers.  

- Recruit, train, and support new Sales & Account Managers.  

- Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless operations.

### **Qualifications and Experience**  


- **Education**: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification.  

- **Experience**:  

  - 5+ years in a Sales Environment.  

  - 3+ years in a Management role.  

  - Proven ability to manage a sales team and establish processes.  

- **Preferred**: Experience in eCommerce and familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRMs.
