As a Reporting Accountant II, you will support Woolworths by delivering high-quality, timely financial reports. You'll work with advanced tools like **Cognos**, **Excel**, **Hyperion**, **Qlikview**, and **Onestream**, ensuring the business has the insights needed for strategic decision-making.

### **Key Responsibilities**

- Compile **weekly Exco sales reports** and **monthly finance packs** (e.g., segmentals and gross profit reports).  

- Provide detailed segmental reports, variance analyses, and **margin analysis** to the Financial Manager.  

- Develop accurate **management information reports** and graphs for internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Stats SA, IGDS, AC Nielsen).  

- Innovate report production processes for improved accuracy and efficiency.  

- Generate direct expense reports, rental turnover calculations, and cost centre reports.  

- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes with standardized templates.  

- Maintain and manage the **GL Recon Register**.  

- Collaborate on the development of new reporting capabilities using **Onestream**.

### **Qualifications & Skills**

**Technical and Functional Requirements**:

- Proficiency in financial reporting tools (e.g., Cognos, Hyperion, Essbase).  

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.  

- Expertise in analyzing financial data and offering actionable insights.  

- Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.

**Educational Requirements**:

- **BComm** degree in finance or related field.  

**Experience**:

- 1-3 years in a similar role, preferably within a retail environment.
