## **Key Responsibilities**  

As a **Welder CAT1**, your duties will include:  

- Executing welding maintenance and repair tasks based on work packages.  

- Welding stainless steel using **MIG**, **SMAW**, and **GTAW** processes.  

- Assisting the welding engineer in qualifying new Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).  

- Welding thin stainless-steel bore piping with precision.  

- Repairing and welding aluminium materials and components.  

- Performing specialised MIG welding tasks.  

- Addressing on-site welding challenges and resolving discrepancies in work packages.  

- Providing hands-on training and coaching to apprentices.  

- Managing safety permits and adhering to Plant Safety Regulations.

## **Qualifications & Skills Required**  

- A minimum of **5 years’ experience** in welding high-pressure equipment and piping (stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminium).  

- **Trade Test Certification / CAT1** in a relevant field.  

- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.  

- In-depth knowledge of various equipment types and their operations.  

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
