### Gauteng City Region Academy (GCRA) Bursaries 2024: Empowering Gauteng Youth

The Gauteng City Region Academy (GCRA), a branch of the Gauteng Department of Education, is committed to addressing youth unemployment by equipping young individuals with relevant knowledge, skills, and talent. GCRA plays a key role in managing bursaries, learnerships, and internships for matriculants from non-fee-paying schools within Gauteng Province.  

#### **Bursary Fields**  

The GCRA bursary program supports studies in high-demand fields, including:  

- Computer Science  

- Construction

#### **Eligibility Criteria**  

To qualify for the GCRA bursary, applicants must:  

1. Be a matriculant from a non-fee-paying school in Gauteng.  

2. Meet the minimum admission requirements for entry into a Gauteng-based FET college or higher education institution.
