The **Filing Clerk** will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate organisation and systematic filing of participants' records. This position is essential for maintaining compliance with study-related activities and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.

### **Key Requirements**
- **Educational Qualifications:**
- Minimum Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
- Tertiary administrative qualification (advantageous)
- **Experience:**
- 1–2 years of work experience in clinical trials (essential)
- Proven experience in filing and record management (essential)
- **Skills:**
- Proficient in MS Office (essential)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail

### **Primary Responsibilities**
- **File Management:**
- Prepare participant visit packs and ensure they are correctly organised.
- Issue and collect files as requested by study coordinators, principal investigators, or designees.
- File laboratory results appropriately after data capture.
- **Administrative Support:**
- Handle queries related to filing and escalate to the appropriate personnel.
- Archive outdated participant records.
- Manage photocopying, faxing, and document shredding when required.
- **Compliance:**
- Maintain accurate records for each clinical trial in accordance with GCP standards.

The annual remuneration package ranges between **R154,189 – R273,699**, based on experience and qualifications.
