## **About the Role**  

As a Registered Nurse in Theatre, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our patients. Reporting directly to the Theatre Unit Manager, your primary focus will be delivering comprehensive care, supporting staff, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and compassionate working environment.

## **Key Responsibilities**  

- **Cost Management:**  

  Ensure efficient use of staff and stock resources by minimizing unnecessary wastage and facilitating equipment maintenance.  

- **Patient Care Excellence:**  

  Delivering quality care while addressing patient and family concerns with accurate and empathetic communication.  

- **Staff Development:**  

  Assist in department-specific micro-orientation to empower staff with relevant skills and knowledge.  

- **Risk Management:**  

  Implement preventative measures to minimize safety, health, environmental, and infection risks.  

- **Stakeholder Collaboration:**  

  Maintain effective relationships with doctors and other stakeholders, understanding and adapting to their specific needs.

## **Minimum Requirements**  

- Registered with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse.  

- Post-basic qualification in Operating Theatre (advantageous).  

- 3–5 years of experience working in a Theatre setting within a private healthcare facility.  

- Proficiency in computer applications.
