## **Cleaner Job Overview**  

### **Goal of the Position**  

The successful candidate will perform general cleaning duties to maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the assigned area.  


**Work Schedule**:  

- **1 day per week**  

- **8:00 AM to 12:00 PM**

## **Key Responsibilities**  

As a Cleaner, your responsibilities will include:  

1. **General Cleaning**:  

   - Sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure all areas are spotless.  

   - Dusting furniture, shelves, and other surfaces to eliminate dirt and allergens.  

2. **Restroom Maintenance**:  

   - Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures.  

   - Replenishing restroom supplies as needed.  

3. **Waste Management**:  

   - Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste in designated areas.  

4. **Specialized Cleaning**:  

   - Cleaning windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces using the appropriate solutions.  

5. **Equipment and Supplies Management**:  

   - Maintaining cleaning equipment in good working condition and reporting any issues.  

   - Monitoring and requesting cleaning supply replenishments.  

6. **Safety and Hygiene**:  

   - Adhering to safety protocols and hygienic practices.  

   - Following instructions for handling and disposing of hazardous materials.

## **Minimum Requirements**  

To qualify for this position, you must meet the following requirements:  

- **Own transport** for commuting to and from the work location.  

- Ability to **work independently** and be assertive when needed.  

- Experience in maintaining **hygienic standards**, especially in clinical or professional setups, will be advantageous.

## **Contract Details**  

- **Contract Period**: Fixed-term until **31 March 2025**.  

- **Start Date**: As soon as possible.  

- **Renewal**: Based on funding availability and performance.  

- Candidates will be screened against the **National Child Protection Register**.
