## **Position Details**  


**Job Title:** Customer Service Consultants  

**Job Grading:** C2  

**Reports To:** Supervisor  

**Business Unit:** Postbank Operations  

**Location:** Bloemfontein  

**Position Status:** Temporary (6 months)  


### **Purpose of the Job**  

As a Customer Service Consultant, you will provide support to Postbank customers and staff through various communication channels, including telephone, email, web chat, and social networks. Your role will include handling inquiries, resolving issues, and supporting electronic fund transfers while ensuring compliance with company policies and legislative requirements.

## **Key Responsibilities**  

- Manage inbound and outbound calls across multiple communication platforms.  

- Provide omni-channel support via telephone, email, fax, social media, and web chat.  

- Assist Customer Service Clerks with account queries and issue resolution.  

- Ensure compliance with banking legislation (e.g., FAIS, FICA) and internal policies.  

- Deliver services within agreed SLA standards and queue times.  

- Maintain 100% knowledge of Postbank’s offerings and provide creative solutions to inquiries.  

- Uphold high standards of customer satisfaction and integrity in all interactions.

## **Qualifications and Experience**  

- **Education:**  

  - Grade 12 (NQF 4) with Mathematics and/or Accounting.  

  - Diploma in Financial/Banking/Call Centre Operations/Customer Services (NQF Level 5) is advantageous.  


- **Experience:**  

  - 2 years in a Call Centre or Banking environment.  

  - Financial services experience is an added advantage.  


- **Skills:**  

  - Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).  

  - Bi-lingual skills are advantageous.  

  - Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
