### **Job Description**

As a Lathe Machine Operator at TESK Pump, you will play a key role in managing our lathe machines to perform various machining tasks, including **drilling, grinding, and milling**. This position requires hands-on experience with setting up and operating lathe machinery, ensuring all operations adhere to company standards and client specifications.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

- **Machine Setup & Management:** Set up and manage lathe machines to perform diverse tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, and balancing shafts.

- **Machine Oversight:** Monitor the machine while it performs tasks, making necessary adjustments to enhance performance and accuracy.

- **Maintenance & Assessments:** Conduct daily inspections and regular assessments of the lathe machine to guarantee operational efficiency.

- **Client Communication:** Provide timelines to clients, addressing any logistics issues that arise during part creation.

- **Alignment & Accuracy:** Ensure all machining processes align with client expectations, especially in bearing sizes, thread repairs, and shaft balancing.

- **Innovative Problem Solving:** Think quickly on your feet to create jigs and fix reworks.

- **Secondary Machinery:** Operate additional machines such as a boring mill, milling machine, and perform PCD milling without shatter.

**Technical Skills Required:**

- **Qualified Machinist:** Proven qualifications and hands-on experience in lathe operation and conventional machine setups.

- **Machine Safety & Housekeeping:** Oversee machine safety protocols and maintain cleanliness around the workstation.

- **Precision & Accuracy:** Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, with a strong focus on precision and quality.
