### **Position Details:**

- **Job Title:** Sheep Shearer

- **Number of Positions:** 475

- **Hourly Wage:** R25.42 per hour, with additional incentives based on productivity

### **Primary Responsibilities:**

As a sheep shearer with OOS Vrystaat Kaap Operations, you will:

- Shear a minimum of 100 sheep daily, adhering to national shearing standards.

- Work in a team-based environment on a seven-weeks-out and two-weeks-in rotation.

- Travel and stay in rural districts as required, with accommodation provided.

### **Essential Requirements:**

To apply for this role, you must:

- Have a valid RSA ID and be registered with SARS for income tax.

- Be aged 18 to 45.

- Be physically capable of performing the demanding tasks required in sheep shearing.

- Be willing to work on weekends and live in remote accommodations provided during the seven-week rotation.

  

*Owning your own shearing handpiece and other equipment will be an added advantage.*
