### **Position: Qualified Dog Trainer**

### **Job Responsibilities:**

- Train dogs using certified techniques to enhance their detection and tracking skills.

- Analyze and understand animal behavior, focusing on canine body language.

- Develop and implement personalized training programs to meet our unit’s operational needs.

- Ensure effective communication with handlers and team members.

- Provide ongoing support and training evaluations for dogs within the program.

### **Requirements:**

- **Education and Certification:**  

  - High school diploma or GED.

  - Certification from the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT) is a plus.

- **Experience:**  

  - Proven work experience as a professional dog trainer.

  - Sound knowledge of dog training techniques, animal behavior, and body language.

  

- **Skills:**  

  - Strong dog handling and problem-solving skills.

  - Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

  - Effective communication skills to work seamlessly with handlers and team members.

  - A passion for dogs, patience, and a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
