### Job Opportunity: Flatbed Driver (Local) – Container Department, Walvis Bay

#### Key Responsibilities

As a Flatbed Driver at Wesbank Transport, you will be responsible for the following:

- **Timely Transport & Delivery**: Ensure the safe and on-time delivery of containers and breakbulk cargo to clients across Namibia, providing complete documentation upon return.

- **Safe Cargo Handling**: Load and transport containers without damage, verifying all documentation to guarantee a smooth process.

- **Pre-Trip Inspections**: Perform thorough pre-trip checks on your vehicle and report any issues to your supervisor immediately.

- **Documentation**: Complete daily tip sheets and maintain an accurate MDC logbook.

- **Additional Duties**: Undertake other duties as required, supporting team efficiency and operations.

#### Requirements

To qualify for this position, candidates must have:

- **Namibian Citizenship**: Only Namibian citizens are eligible for this role.

- **Driver’s License & Certification**: Valid Code CE driver’s license, valid PDP (Dangerous Goods), and ideally, Hazchem Certification.

- **Education & Experience**: A Grade 12 certificate and at least five years of experience in the transport industry.

- **Police Clearance**: No criminal record, with a police clearance certificate no older than three months.

- **Skills**: Strong driving skills with high attention to detail, excellent communication in English and Afrikaans, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.

- **Professionalism**: Sober habits and a responsible approach to work are essential.
