### **Role Summary: Ward Administrator at Medicross Highway Sub-Acute**

As a **Ward Administrator**, you’ll be a vital part of our team, serving as a welcoming ambassador for patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Your primary responsibility is to ensure a smooth, welcoming experience for everyone who enters the facility. This role is key to supporting the operational and administrative aspects of the ward, helping to maintain efficient service while upholding Netcare’s core values of **care, truth, participation, compassion,** and **dignity**.

### **Key Responsibilities:**

- **Welcome and Reception:** Ensure all patients, visitors, and doctors feel comfortable and welcomed upon arrival.

- **Stock Management:** Collaborate with the Unit Manager and Stock Controller to maintain accurate stock levels within the facility.

- **Administrative Support:** Provide support to the Clinic Manager, Unit Manager, and Admin Controller in handling assigned tasks and day-to-day operations.

### **Inherent Requirements:**

- **Education:** Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent qualification in Business Administration or Secretarial studies.

- **Computer Skills:** Proficiency in general computer operations; knowledge of SAP IS-H is advantageous.

- **Interpersonal Skills:** Friendly, professional, and capable of managing a dynamic healthcare environment.
