In2food is hiring a **Tea Plant Machine Operator** with expertise in operating and maintaining production machinery for our groceries and beverages division. We are looking for a reliable professional who pays attention to detail, follows safety protocols, and maintains quality standards to ensure efficient and safe operations.

**Job Purpose:**  

As a Tea Plant Machine Operator, your role is to set up, operate, and maintain machines to keep our production line running smoothly. You will be instrumental in ensuring our products meet quality and safety standards.

### **Qualifications:**

- **Education:** Grade 12 or equivalent.

- **Certification:** Vocational or technical certification in food processing or mechanical operations is an advantage.

**Experience:**

- 1-3 years in a food manufacturing environment, preferably in beverage or juice production.

**Skills:**

- Understanding of juice production processes and quality control.

- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.

- Familiarity with health and safety regulations (GMP, HACCP, FSSC).

- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and adherence to procedures.

- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

### **Key Responsibilities:**

- **Machine Setup & Operation:** 

  - Calibrate, clean, and prepare machinery at the start of each production cycle.

  - Operate juice production machines, including extraction, mixing, pasteurization, and filling equipment.

- **Production Monitoring & Control:**

  - Oversee production parameters like temperature, pressure, and speed.

  - Adjust machine settings to maintain smooth operation and ensure product consistency.

- **Maintenance & Troubleshooting:** 

  - Conduct regular equipment checks.

  - Report mechanical issues to the maintenance team promptly to prevent downtime.

- **Safety & Compliance:**

  - Follow all safety and food hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with health and company policies.

  - Record accurate production metrics, including batch data, equipment settings, and times.

- **Training & Communication:**

  - Support new and junior operators, providing training on machine operation and quality standards.

  - Communicate with the shift supervisor or production manager to discuss any production issues or improvements.
