### **Purpose of the Role:**

The Stock Controller will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient management of stock across hospital units. This includes billing stock and services to patient accounts and maintaining a smooth, patient-centered experience.

### **Key Responsibilities:**

- **Stock Management:**  

  - Maintain optimal stock levels in wards and theatres.

  - Order and replenish stock timely to align with usage patterns.

  - Manage consignment and prosthesis stock, ensuring accuracy in the theatres and wards.

  - Maintain cleanliness and organization in stock rooms, packing stock daily.

  - Ensure correct coding of received stock in alignment with the hospital system.

- **Billing & Accounts Management:**  

  - Accurately bill patient accounts for ward and theatre stock, following the charge sheet.

  - Bill patient accounts daily for accommodation, monitoring equipment, oxygen, and other tariffs.

  - Submit weekly negative reports and ensure files reach the Case Manager within hospital guidelines.

  - Organize and file all necessary documents accurately.

- **Stock Audits:**  

  - Conduct weekly cycle counts for high-value stock and monthly stock takes across units.

  - Daily monitoring and reporting on high-value stock usage.

- **Communication & Reporting:**  

  - Report any stock shortages or challenges to the Unit Manager in a timely manner.

### **Qualifications & Experience:**

- **Essential:**  

  - 5–10 years of stock control experience within a private hospital environment.

  - Experience in specialized hospital units such as Catheterization Laboratory, ICU, Theatre, or Cardio Thoracic.

  

- **Technical Skills:**  

  - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  - Familiarity with the Tri-four system (advantageous).
