### Job Purpose
The Juice Plant Supervisor will oversee daily production processes in the juice plant, ensuring that our high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency are consistently met. This role is critical in delivering top-quality juice products while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
### Qualifications and Experience
- **Educational Requirement**: Matric/Grade 12
- **Preferred Qualification**: Diploma in Food Technology, Industrial, or Business Management
- **Experience**: Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role within the food or beverage manufacturing sector
- **Knowledge**: Proficiency in HACCP, GMP, and other food safety and quality standards

- **Leadership & Management**: Strong leadership abilities with experience in people management
- **Production & Quality Control**: Thorough knowledge of production and quality control processes
- **Problem Solving**: A proactive approach to identifying and solving operational challenges
- **Communication & Organization**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational skills
### Duties and Responsibilities
- **Production Oversight**: Supervise juice production, ensuring alignment with the production schedule and targets.
- **Equipment Management**: Monitor machine operation, adjust settings, and manage process flow to meet production requirements.
- **Quality Assurance**: Ensure products meet taste, quality, and packaging standards through regular inspections and quality checks.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead, train, and mentor the production line team; manage schedules, and oversee performance evaluations.
- **Inventory Control**: Manage raw material levels, monitor inventory to avoid shortages, and minimize wastage of raw materials and finished products.
- **Safety & Compliance**: Enforce safety, hygiene, and environmental protocols; conduct safety checks and train team members on safe practices.
- **Reporting & Communication**: Conduct daily briefings to relay production goals, quality standards, and safety updates.
