### **Position Overview:**

**Job Title:** Human Resource Practitioner  

**Division:** Mpact Corrugated, Gauteng  

**Department:** Human Resources  

**Grade:** C Upper  


This role is based at our Mpact Gauteng facility, where you’ll work closely with our Human Resources team to support and enhance our workforce while ensuring alignment with business goals and industry standards.


### **Key Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:

- **Educational Background:** Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management.

- **Experience:** Minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment, with hands-on HR experience.

- **Technical Skills:** Computer literate, with familiarity in HR systems. Educos knowledge is an advantage.

- **Industrial Relations (IR) Skills:** Experience in industrial relations, including managing unionized environments and handling CCMA cases.

- **Soft Skills:** Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and leadership abilities.

- **Autonomy:** Ability to work independently and make informed HR decisions.


### **Key Responsibilities:**

As a Human Resource Practitioner at Mpact Gauteng, your responsibilities will include:


1. **Employee and Union Relations:** Build and maintain positive working relationships with employees, management, and labor unions. Effectively manage union and employee interactions, including attending monthly union and transformation meetings.

2. **Policy Compliance:** Ensure the accurate and consistent application of Mpact’s policies and procedures.

3. **Recruitment and Selection:** Lead effective recruitment processes to attract and retain the best talent.

4. **Manpower Planning:** Strategically plan workforce movements and placement to align with business needs.

5. **HR Administration:** Manage HR administrative tasks, including compiling timely monthly HR reports and maintaining accurate HR records.

6. **Labour Relations:** Handle disciplinary and grievance hearings, manage CCMA cases, and address any IR-related issues in line with company standards.

7. **Strategic Partnerships:** Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to drive HR initiatives and foster a positive work culture.

8. **Employee Morale:** Implement strategies to improve employee morale, engagement, and retention.
