### **Key Responsibilities:**

- Operate and manage heavy-duty trucks for the South African Police Service fleet.

- Ensure safe and secure transportation of SAPS vehicles, personnel, and equipment.

- Coordinate external deployments and mobilizations for SAPS operations nationwide.

- Conduct vehicle inspections, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

- Maintain accurate driving logs and reports in accordance with departmental regulations.

### **Key Requirements:**

- **Qualifications:** Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or National Certificate (Vocational) on NQF Level 4.

- **Language Skills:** Proficiency in at least two official languages, including English.

- **Citizenship:** Must be a South African citizen with a clean criminal and departmental record.

- **Experience:** A minimum of 3-4 years of professional driving experience.

- **Licenses:** Valid driver's license (Code EB, C1, C, EC1, and EC) and Public Driver's Permit (PDP) are essential.

- **Physical Readiness:** No visible tattoos in uniform; ability to work under pressure and extended hours.
