### **About the Position**

This six-month internship program is designed to give aspiring graphic designers the chance to grow their skills, work on exciting projects, and gain professional experience within the arts and culture sector. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals and contribute to high-impact projects that reach a national audience.

**Position:** Graphic Design Internship (x3 positions available)  

**Location:** Thulamela (2 days in-office, 3 days remote)  

**Stipend:** R5,700 per month  

**Duration:** 6 months (November 2024 - May 2025)

### **Internship Requirements**

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants should meet the following criteria:

- **Educational Level:** NQF Level 6 in Graphic Design or Film Production preferred

- **Age:** Must be under 35 years old

- **Location:** Must reside in Thulamela

- **Employment Status:** Must be currently unemployed

- **Creativity:** Ability to conceptualize original designs (no use of templates or AI-generated designs)

- **Team Flexibility:** Willingness to work 2 days in the office and 3 days remotely

### **Key Responsibilities**

As a Graphic Design Intern, you will be responsible for:

- **Creating Unique Visuals:** Design visually engaging graphics aligned with project objectives.

- **Website Development Support:** Contribute to website design and layout updates.

- **Motion Picture Editing:** Assist in video editing for promotional materials and advertisements.

- **Conceptualizing Visual Themes:** Develop themes that bring projects to life and capture audiences.

- **Ensuring High-Quality Design Execution:** Deliver precise, high-quality visuals in all design aspects.
