### Position: Head of English, Girls Senior Prep

#### Key Responsibilities:

- **English Instruction**: Teach English in the Intermediate Phase, implementing innovative methods that inspire a love for language and literature.

- **Team Leadership**: Lead and mentor a team of English teachers, fostering collaboration and best teaching practices.

- **Curriculum Development**: Drive engaging, forward-thinking English curriculum initiatives in line with St Peter's Prep Schools Best Practice pedagogy.

#### Qualifications and Experience Required:

- **Tertiary Qualification** in education or a related field

- **SACE Registered** (South African Council for Educators)

- **5+ Years of English Teaching Experience**, preferably in an IEB school

- **Team Leadership Experience** with a proven ability to collaborate effectively

- Strong **English Language Proficiency** and excellent proofreading skills

- A track record of **innovative teaching methods** and a forward-thinking approach to personalized instruction
