### **Minimum Qualifications & Experience**

**Educational Requirements**  

- **Matric Certificate** (Grade 12/N3) or equivalent tertiary qualifications (SAQA accredited)

- **Required Subjects**: Mathematics or Statistics 101 and English (minimum D symbol on higher grade or C on standard grade); Physical Science or Computer Science (same grade requirements)

**Licensing & Certification**  

- **Licensing**: Valid South African Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) or Commercial Pilot License (with completed ATPL ground subjects). ATPL certification must be completed within four years of employment.

- **Medical**: Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate

**Flight Hours**  

- **Experience**: A minimum of 1,500 flight hours, including 200 hours on multi-engine aircraft.

**Nationality**  

- South African citizen with a valid passport.
