**Eastern Cape Liquor Board Internship Opportunities: Alcohol Harm Reduction Project**

 



The Eastern Cape Liquor Board (ECLB) is offering a fantastic opportunity for unemployed graduates to join the Alcohol Harm Reduction Project in universities across the Eastern Cape. If you are passionate about making a difference in your community and have a background in social sciences or related fields, this could be the perfect role for you!


**Position Overview:**

ECLB is looking to appoint 17 Project Facilitators for a 24-month internship, with a stipend of R6,500 per month. Successful applicants will help implement the Alcohol Harm Reduction Project at higher learning institutions throughout the Eastern Cape, assisting in raising awareness about the dangers of alcohol abuse and promoting healthier lifestyles.


**Key Requirements:**


- **Age:** Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old.

- **Education:** A Matric/Grade 12 certificate is required. Candidates should have completed a Degree/National Diploma (NQF 6) or higher qualifications (Honours/Masters) in relevant fields from accredited institutions.

- **Citizenship:** Only South African citizens are eligible to apply.

  

**Key Responsibilities:**


As a Project Facilitator, your role will include:


- Leading the anti-alcohol abuse campaign across all university departments.

- Coordinating the implementation and management of projects within universities.

- Planning and executing anti-alcohol abuse events and initiatives.

- Managing relationships with external stakeholders.

- Providing constructive feedback and regular reports to the Social Accountability Division.

- Motivating and leading a team of facilitators and students.

- Communicating key anti-alcohol abuse messages to university communities.
