### PE Assistant Coach Role Overview

This is a Governing Body position focused on assisting with physical education and various school sports. The successful candidate will work closely with our educators to promote a positive and safe sports environment, contributing to our extra-mural program, which includes some Saturday activities.

### Key Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

- **Fluent in English:** Strong communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking in English.

- **Police Clearance:** A current and valid police clearance certificate is essential.

- **Proof of Sexual Offenders Registration:** Ensuring the safety and well-being of our students.

- **Educational Qualification:** Proof of studies towards an educational qualification, preferably in physical education or a related field.

- **CAPS Compliance:** Familiarity with the Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS).

- **Computer Literate:** Basic computer skills to assist in maintaining records and reporting.

- **Commitment to Extra-Mural Activities:** Willingness to support our extracurricular program, including some Saturday events.

- **Sports Knowledge and Experience:** Experience in sports like cricket, rugby, and soccer is highly beneficial.

- **Personal Qualities:** We are looking for a professional, hardworking, and committed individual who can work well within a team and is prepared to go above and beyond.
