Key Responsibilities of the Admin Clerk
- Stock Management:
- Receive, compare, and file delivery notes.
- Ensure all documents and system sequences are processed correctly.
- Capture stock count sheets, generate variance reports, and assist with stock-taking.
- Invoice Processing:
- Collect invoices electronically and link them with delivery notes and orders.
- Communicate with suppliers about discrepancies, outstanding invoices, and credit notes.
- Claim Handling:
- Manage warranty claims, damaged items, and other stock discrepancies.
- Generate detailed reports (daily, weekly, and monthly) to track issues like outstanding claims and purchase orders.
- Cash Management:
- Perform daily cash-ups, report discrepancies, and ensure adherence to company policy.
- Submit daily cash-up balances to the Regional Banking Clerk.
- Client Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients by resolving queries promptly.
Minimum Requirements
Education & Experience
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- At least 1 year of administrative experience.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
