- **Education:** National Diploma in Instrumentation Mechanician or Electrical Engineering (Light Current).
- **Certification:** Trade test as Electrician/Instrument Mechanician.
- **Experience:** At least 5 years of maintenance experience.
- **Specialized Skills:** Intermediate PLC (Programmable Logic Controls) course or certification as a Clear SCADA Professional/PSX Certified Professional/Engineer preferred.
- **License:** Valid Code 08 driver’s license.

1. **Instrumentation & Programming:** Maintain and program instrumentation equipment, ensuring backups for all programmable instruments.
2. **Process Control Networks:** Establish and maintain reliable process networks for efficient process control.
3. **New Technology Integration:** Conduct research to introduce new technology into instrumentation and electrical functions.
4. **Documentation Updates:** Update all drawings and equipment manuals (both electronic and hard copies) to ensure current information is accessible.
5. **Fault Analysis:** Perform field fault analysis to identify if issues stem from instrument failure or process problems.
6. **Calibration & Repair:** Calibrate equipment with proper tools and repair transmission facilities, such as telemetry.
7. **Circuit Installation & Modification:** Install new control circuits and modify existing instrument/electrical systems as needed.
8. **PLC & SCADA Programming:** Troubleshoot and modify PLC and SCADA systems.
9. **Regulatory Compliance:** Ensure all activities comply with SHE procedures and regulations for a safe work environment.
