The Department of Higher Education and Training, in collaboration with Tshwane South TVET College and Food and Beverage Manufacturing SETA (FoodBevSETA), is excited to announce an incredible opportunity for unemployed youth to participate in a 12-month Microsoft Digital Skills Learnership Programme. This initiative is designed to equip individuals with cutting-edge skills in cloud computing, preparing them for a dynamic career in IT.
### Programme Overview: Cloud Computing
The learnership focuses on two key areas in cloud computing, essential for launching a career in IT:
**1. Azure Fundamentals:**
Learn the basics of Microsoft Azure, its services, solutions, and how it fits within modern IT environments.
**2. Azure Administrator Associate:**
Get hands-on experience in managing cloud services, including storage, networking, and security, to ensure seamless operations within a cloud infrastructure.
### Qualifying Criteria
This exciting opportunity is open to South Africans between the ages of 18 and 35 who meet the following qualifications:
- **Educational Requirements:**
- Completed Grade 12 (with a pass).
- NCV Level 4.
- N6 Management Assistance (with In-service Placement).
- N6 Financial Management (with CFS – Certificate for Services).
- Any IT-related qualification from a public TVET College or university.
- Equivalent qualifications with N6 IP/CFS.
- **Additional Criteria:**
- You must not be currently engaged in any post-matric studies or formal employment.
