**Position Title:** Receptionist/Administrative Assistant


**Duration:** Fixed Term Contract of Employment until 05 January 2028


**Location:** Johannesburg, Sandton


**Job Profile:**

The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of our office. This position combines administrative, secretarial, and front desk responsibilities, providing essential support to managers, employees, and visitors.


**Reports to:** Personal Assistant to the Managing Director


**Key Responsibilities:**

- Handling all aspects of office administrative tasks.

- Answering telephones, providing information to callers, taking messages, or transferring calls to appropriate personnel.

- Coordinating between departments to resolve day-to-day administrative and operational issues.

- Scheduling and coordinating meetings, boardroom usage, interviews, events, and similar activities.

- Managing incoming and outgoing mail and packages.

- Drafting business correspondence using word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.

- Managing documentation, correspondence, and filing in the MD's office.

- Ordering and receiving supplier deliveries.

- Providing general office support.

- Taking meeting minutes and preparing notes as required.

- Compiling meeting packs as needed.

- Arranging conferences, meetings, or travel reservations for staff members.


**Minimum Qualifications and Experience:**

- Matric (Grade 12) qualification.

- Minimum 5 years of Office Administration experience.

- Valid driver's license.

- Proficiency in computer literacy.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity.

- Strong organizational and communication skills.

- Excellent work ethic and professionalism.

- Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

- Technical skills relevant to office administration.

- Interpersonal and communication skills.

- Customer focus and teamwork abilities.
