**Job Description:**

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring efficient procurement of goods, materials, and services, aligning with operational requirements and cost-effectiveness. The Procurement Manager will lead negotiations, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost-saving initiatives, contributing significantly to our supply chain efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Manage the procurement process to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.

- Implement sourcing policies and liaise between suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding specifications and budgets.

- Analyze and synthesize data to support decision-making, using statistical techniques as necessary.

- Lead contract negotiations to secure improved prices and terms, utilizing procurement best practices.

- Drive cost reduction projects while balancing tactical execution with strategic initiatives.

- Conduct supplier performance reviews and research new suppliers to enhance company sourcing strategies.

- Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve issues related to price, quality, delivery, and invoices.

- Ensure continuous supply chain operations and update ERP systems with relevant changes.

**Reporting Structure:**

The Procurement Manager will report directly to the Head of Supply Chain.

**Experience and Skills Required:**

- Proven experience in procurement, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

- Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify problems and implement effective solutions.

- Commercially and financially astute with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Familiarity with ERP systems or databases is advantageous.

- Membership of Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) is a plus.

- A degree in manufacturing/engineering or related field is preferred.
