**Position Overview:**

We are seeking two experienced and highly skilled Mining Foremen to join our team. The successful candidates will oversee and manage opencast mining operations, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and safety standards. They will be responsible for managing the dewatering practices and the pumping team, as well as ensuring efficient and effective mining practices.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in mining operations.

- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

- Manage dewatering practices and oversee the pumping team.

- Monitor and control mining production processes to ensure adherence to schedules and targets.

- Conduct regular inspections of mining operations to identify and resolve issues.

- Implement and maintain effective communication channels within the team.

- Assist in the planning and execution of blasting operations (if applicable).

**Requirements:**

- Grade 12 or equivalent.

- Proficiency in English.

- Valid driver’s license.

- In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.

- Extensive knowledge and experience in opencast mining management and practices.

- Competent A certification.

- Experience in dewatering practices and managing pumping teams.

- Opencast Blasting Certificate (advantageous).

- Engineering qualifications (advantageous).
