Applications are hereby invited from interested individuals with enthusiasm for the following youth development opportunity:

DRIVERS LICENSE LEARNERSHIP 2024


This initiative is presented by the Municipal Youth Desk section and requires youth between the ages of 18-35 years old who will be selected to take part in the learnership. The program is funded for ten (10) driving lessons per applicant and the booking fees for the final pass out for the driving test. However, each applicant who pass their final driving test will be responsible to pay for their Driver's License card and Traffic administration costs. No application form is available, interested individuals should apply by writing cover letter clearly marked: DRIVER LICENSE LEARNERSHIP 2024 and attached all required documents as stated below:


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:


1.D Book/Card


Youth between ages of 18-35 only. Be in possession of a Valid Learner License


Proof of Residential Residence (Municipality, Bank Account, Retail Account) Local to the greater Knysna area


DIRECTION TO CANDIDATES:


The following documentation must accompany applications: Copy of identity documentation,


proof of residence, valid Learners License and employed youth should attached a copy of their latest payslip. Applicant should clearly indicate in their cover letter which ward they resides in. Failure to submit relevant documentation will disqualify your application. Completed applications, clearly marked: DRIVERS LICENSE LEARNERSHIP 2024 should be handed in Municipal Main Building in Clyde Street or email to: youthdesk@knysna.gov.za Youth from Karatara, Brackenhill, Rheenendal and Sedgefield may also hand in their applications at the Libraries.


Please note: Correspondence will ONLY be entered into with selected candidates. Should candidates not be contacted within a month after the closing date, they may accept their application as unsuccessful.
