### Purpose of the Job:

Brima is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee our Cape Town branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing drivers and branch administrators, coordinating logistics activities, and serving as the primary contact for customer concerns. This role reports directly to the Operations Director.


### Key Responsibilities:

- **Staff Management:** Ensure all staff are well-managed and monitored.

- **Logistics Coordination:** Manage and coordinate logistics activities from order placement to client delivery and inventory management, optimizing logistics flows.

- **Performance Measurement:** Conduct performance measurements for staff.

- **Reporting:** Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports to the Operations Director.

- **Branch Operations:** Oversee the opening and closing of the branch, supervise daily operations, and train staff.

- **Driver Management:** Ensure all drivers are on route and track all vehicles daily.

- **Cost Management:** Monitor fuel costs and keep the operating costs of the delivery fleet as low as possible.

- **Administrative Duties:** Set schedules for drivers, ensure timely deliveries and collections, and transfer fines of Brima vehicles to drivers' names.

- **Customer Interaction:** Act as the focal point for customer problems, questions, or concerns, and interact with the Operations Director regarding collections and deliveries.


### Minimum Requirements:

- **Education:** Minimum Matric.

- **Experience:** 4-5 years of related experience.

- **Qualification:** Relevant tertiary qualification.

- **Software:** Must have experience using Parcel Perfect.

- **Skills:** 

  - Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

  - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  - Proven ability to motivate and develop team members.

  - Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  - Team player.

  - Fully computer literate.

  - Good geographical knowledge.
