**AGRICULTURE, LAND REFORM AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT BURSARY AWARDS FOR 2025**


The Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development (DALRRD) is proud to announce comprehensive bursary awards for the 2025 academic year. These bursaries are aimed at empowering deserving individuals from previously disadvantaged and impoverished backgrounds in poverty-stricken rural communities. If you are passionate about contributing to the agriculture, land reform, and rural development sectors, this opportunity is for you.


**Benefits:**

**Minimum Requirements:**

- **Education:** National Senior Certificate with specific subject requirements as detailed below:

  - Mathematics and Physical Science: Level 6 (70-79) or Level 5 (60-69) or Level 4 (50-59).

  - Mathematics and Physical Science/Geography: Level 5 (60-69) or Level 4 (50-59).

  - Mathematics and Physical Science: Level 4 (50-59).

**Important Notes:**

- Applicants must be South African citizens.

- Applications without university acceptance letters or results will be accepted while awaiting these documents.

- The selection process will notify successful applicants within 14 days after the release of Grade 12 results and the finalization by the National Bursary Committee.

- Late applications will not be considered.

- DALRRD reserves the right to determine the number of bursaries allocated based on available budget.
