**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a Technical Assistant to join our team in the IRT Bus Operations department. The successful candidate will provide specialized technical support, manage data and reports, and ensure compliance with operational standards. This role requires a proactive individual who is prepared to work after-hours and on weekends when necessary.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Technical Support:** Apply specialized knowledge in IRT Bus Operations, including understanding and implementing relevant policies and procedures.
- **Report Preparation:** Collate and prepare data for comprehensive reports.
- **Reconciliation and Monitoring:** Manage invoice trip and kilometer reconciliation, and monitor contract compliance.
- **Project Management:** Handle various projects as directed by supervisors.
- **Inspections and Surveys:** Conduct technical inspections and design surveys for bus and passenger analysis.
- **Database Management:** Assist in designing and applying information systems for operational analysis.
- **General Administrative and Compliance Duties:** Perform administrative functions and monitor contract compliance.
**Eligibility and Requirements:**
- **Qualifications:** Matric certificate required.
- **Experience:** Up to 2 years in bus operations.
- **Skills:**
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and SAP.
- Valid code 08 driver's license.
- **Availability:** Must be prepared to work after-hours and on weekends.
