We are seeking a qualified and experienced Production Manager to join our client's food production team in Letsitele. This role is essential for ensuring efficient production processes and maintaining high-quality standards.


**Position Overview:**

The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the food factory, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food technology and supervisory experience in a production environment.


**Key Responsibilities:**

- Manage and supervise production activities to ensure efficient operations.

- Implement and monitor compliance with SABS ISO 9001 and HACCP standards.

- Utilize Sage system for production management and reporting.

- Lead project management initiatives to improve production processes.

- Analyze production data to make informed decisions.

- Ensure effective time management and decision-making under pressure.

- Lead and manage a team, providing clear direction and maintaining discipline.

- Communicate effectively in both English and another local language.

- Influence and motivate team members to achieve production targets.


**Minimum Requirements:**

- Degree in Food Technology.

- At least 5 years of experience in a food factory, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role in a production environment.

- Proficiency in the Sage system.

- Strong project management and analytical skills.

- Excellent time management and decision-making abilities.

- Ability to work under extreme pressure and independently.

- Effective people management and leadership skills.

- Knowledge of SABS ISO 9001 and HACCP standards.

- Good communication skills, bilingual ability, and influencing skills.
