Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency (MTPA) is dedicated to preserving the natural beauty and biodiversity of Mpumalanga's nature reserves. We are offering an exciting opportunity for unemployed matriculants to join our Learnership Programme for the Financial Year 2024/2025.

**Learnership Description:**  

The Learnership Programme is designed to provide practical and theoretical training, structured work experience, and accredited qualifications through an accredited training provider under the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).

**Duration:** 12 months

- Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve

- Manyeleti Nature Reserve

- Andover Nature Reserve

- Bushbuckridge Nature Reserve

- Mthethomusha Nature Reserve

- Songimvelo Nature Reserve

- Barberton Nature Reserve

- Mahushe Shongwe Nature Reserve

- Verloren Vallei Nature Reserve

- Nooitgedacht Dam Nature Reserve

- Mdala Nature Reserve

- Mkhombo Dam Nature Reserve

- Mabusa Nature Reserve

- Loskop Dam Nature Reserve

- SS Skhosana Nature Reserve

- Sterkspruit Nature Reserve

- Ohrigstad Nature Reserve

**Responsibilities:**  

- Assisting in biodiversity conservation.

- Monitoring and removing invasive vegetation.

- Assisting with fire management, rehabilitation, and infrastructure maintenance.

- Collecting data for program objectives.

- Promoting environmental education and awareness.

- Completing assignments related to practical experiences.

- Attending training and learner support sessions.

**Requirements:**  

- Unemployed South Africans aged 18 to 35.

- Grade 12 / Matric qualification.

- Reside in Mpumalanga Province.

- Not currently studying at a tertiary institution.

- Not registered for any other learnerships.

- Interested in outdoor and practical work.

- Attach CV and ID copy.
