**Position Overview:**  

We are seeking a dedicated Investigator to join our team on a project-based contract. The Investigator will play a crucial role in conducting investigations, gathering evidence, and providing support to our clients and executives.

**Key Responsibilities:**  

- Attend to all incidents at clients' sites promptly.

- Conduct investigations as instructed by SSG Security executives.

- Drive investigations to conclusion and follow up on all leads.

- Identify victims, suspects, and witnesses.

- Interview witnesses and obtain detailed affidavits.

- Securely record, collect, and store evidence for each case.

- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.

- Maintain organized and presentable case files.

- Present evidence in court when required.

**Requirements:**  

- Minimum Grade 12 qualification.

- PSIRA Registration.

- Firearm Competency.

- Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.

- Diploma/Certificate in Policing.

- Diploma/Certificate in Forensics & Investigations Report writing skills.

- Ability to work well under pressure and willingness to work extensive hours.

- Excellent computer literacy.

- Consent to integrity tests, credit/background checks, criminal background checks, principal checks, and illegal substance tests.

- Previous employment background check.

**Key Performance Indicators:**  

- Timely attendance to all incidents.

- Thorough and conclusive investigations.

- Accurate identification of victims, suspects, and witnesses.

- Maintenance of organized and secure case files.

- Presentation of evidence in court as required.
