**Position Overview:**

The Fruit Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the procurement and quality control of fresh fruit, particularly Citrus and Guava, within a food factory environment. This role requires a strong background in agriculture and food safety standards, along with supervisory experience.


**Key Responsibilities:**

- Manage the procurement of fresh fruit, ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards.

- Supervise and coordinate activities within the food factory to maintain efficiency and productivity.

- Ensure adherence to quality and food safety standards such as ISO 9001, HACCP, FSSC 22000, and Global GAP.

- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all procurement and quality control activities.

- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to optimize procurement processes.


**Minimum Requirements:**

- National Diploma or Degree in Agriculture or related field.

- Minimum of 4 years' experience in a food factory environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

- Proficient in computer applications.

- Valid driver's license.

- Bilingual in Afrikaans and English (additional languages are an advantage).

- In-depth knowledge of the Citrus and Guava industry.

- Familiarity with quality and food safety standards (ISO 9001, HACCP, FSSC 22000, Global GAP).
