**Job Title:** Cashbook Clerk

**Purpose of the Position:**
STAR Motor Group is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cashbook Clerk to join our Finance Department. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage bank reconciliations, capture and allocate bank payments, post cash sales, credit card transactions, petrol expenses, and admin invoices, along with handling various requests from management.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Capture and allocate bank payments.
- Post cash sales, credit card transactions, petrol expenses, and admin invoices.
- Handle additional requests and tasks from management.
**Experience and Qualifications:**
- **Compulsory:** Experience in the Motor Trade Industry.
- **Advantage:** Experience with Evolve software.
- **Compulsory:** Proficiency in MS Office Excel.
- **Compulsory:** Experience with cashbook management.
- **Advantage:** Grade 12 with Mathematics or Accounting as a subject.
**Requirements:**
- Willingness to work overtime during month-end and year-end periods.
- Preferably immediately available (though not a requirement).
- Ability to use own initiative and work without supervision.
- Must reside in the Vaal Triangle and have reliable transport.
