**Learnership Description:**

The Ackermans Distribution Centre Learnership 2024 is designed to provide candidates with hands-on experience and a deep understanding of Ackermans' operations. This 12-month learnership program integrates practical work experience at our Distribution Centres with structured learning from an accredited training provider, leading to a SAQA-accredited qualification.

**What to Expect from the Programme:**

- Fixed-term employment with Ackermans for 12 months

- Monthly stipend

- SAQA-accredited qualification

- Practical and meaningful distribution centre workplace experience

- Coaching and mentoring opportunities

**Responsibilities:**

- Work at our Distribution Centres under the guidance of Departmental Supervisors.

- Gain exposure to the retail industry and distribution centre operations.

- Develop work ethic, corporate brand knowledge, and professional relationships.

- Ensure efficient processing of daily production units.

- Adhere to standard operating procedures and Health and Safety policies.

- Participate in 5S workplace initiatives and departmental teams.

- Manage oneself according to company values and systems.

- Acquire skills and competencies for future career advancement.

**Requirements:**

- South African citizenship.

- Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).

- Completed/pass Grade 12 (Matric).

- Unemployed status.

- Not studying during the learnership period.

- Not linked or registered to any other learnership programme.

**Skills and Competencies:**

- Self-starter with a team-oriented approach.

- Excellent communication and administrative skills.

- Flexibility and resilience under pressure.

- Strong learning orientation and service delivery mindset.

- Appreciation for systems and technology.
