As the Senior Wine Buyer, you’ll lead the development of category strategies, drive commercial performance, and craft ranges that elevate the WCellar brand. You’ll negotiate deals, build strong supplier relationships, guide pricing decisions, and collaborate across Sales, Marketing, and Planning.

📌 What You’ll Be Responsible For
✔️ Leading and implementing category operational plans
✔️ Negotiating pricing, promotions & new product listings
✔️ Developing commercially strong product ranges
✔️ Working closely with suppliers and internal teams
✔️ Tracking performance against KPIs
✔️ Managing financial accountabilities, margins & trading agreements
✔️ Ensuring market competitiveness through pricing, promotions, and assortment
✔️ Driving innovation and maintaining strong supplier partnerships
✔️ Integrating promotional calendars with Sales & Marketing teams
⭐ What You’ll Need to Succeed
To thrive, you should bring:

A 3-year commercial degree or equivalent postgraduate qualification

3–5 years’ experience leading people or a team

A solid understanding of liquor/wine categories (WSET Level 2 is a plus!)

Strong negotiation, financial management, and analytical skills

Experience with sourcing, supplier management, and category planning

Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tool proficiency

The ability to manage pressure, travel when needed, and work in cross-functional environments
