✅ Minimum Requirements (Must-Haves)

To qualify, applicants should meet the following essentials:

  • Blasting Certificate

  • 2–3 years of mining experience

  • Valid First Aid Certificate

  • Grade 10 or equivalent

  • Medically fit for underground work

  • Clear security screening

  • Ability to work safely and effectively within fast-paced mining environments

🔧 What You'll Be Responsible For

This is a hands-on, high-impact role. You will be trusted with:

✔ Safety & SHERQ

  • Ensuring full PPE compliance

  • Reporting incidents and investigating near-misses

  • Conducting safety observations (SBOs & PTOs)

  • Participating in risk assessments and safety meetings

✔ Daily Mining Operations

  • Conducting re-entry examinations

  • Reef identification and face marking

  • Charging & blasting

  • Planning and coordinating production to meet daily targets

✔ Administration & Resource Management

  • Completing accurate documentation

  • Managing leave cycles

  • Ensuring efficient use of people, machinery, and materials

✔ People Leadership

  • Coaching and developing team members

  • Fair work allocation

  • Driving high-performance culture
