**Job Title:** Factotum (General Maintenance and Transport Assistant)  

**Location:** SAVF Kosmossies Daycare, Kriel, Mpumalanga  

**Start Date:** ASAP  

**Closing Date:** 31 December 2024  

**Salary:** As per SAVF scales

### **Key Responsibilities**  

1. **Building Maintenance:**  

   - Conduct basic repairs and upkeep, including plumbing, painting, and other related tasks.  

2. **Gardening and Landscaping:**  

   - Maintain outdoor spaces, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment.  

3. **Transport Assistance:**  

   - Safely transport elderly residents using the facility’s bus.  

4. **Independence and Initiative:**  

   - Organize tasks effectively while maintaining discipline and meeting deadlines.

### **Requirements**  

To qualify, you must meet the following criteria:  

- **Education:** Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.  

- **Driving:**  

  - Code 10 Driver's Licence.  

  - Professional Driving Permit (PDP).  

- **Clearance:** Valid SAPS clearance certificate.  

- **Health:** Good physical condition to handle maintenance and driving tasks.  

- **Language Skills:** Proficiency in English and Afrikaans.  

- **Personal Attributes:**  

  - Trustworthy, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.  

  - Strong organizational and communication skills.
