## **Position Overview**

**Role:** Chief Professional Nurse  

**Location:** SAVF Jubileum Home, Vryheid, KwaZulu-Natal  

**Working Hours:** 160 hours per month (11-hour shifts)  

**Closing Date for Applications:** 31 December 2024  

**Start Date:** As soon as possible

## **Key Responsibilities**

As a Chief Professional Nurse, your role will include:  

- Providing high-quality care to the elderly and disabled.  

- Leading the healthcare team when required.  

- Maintaining hygiene standards in the wards.  

- Working shifts as part of a dynamic team.  

- Undertaking various ongoing tasks essential to the residents' care.

## **Qualifications and Requirements**  

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:  

- **Education:** Grade 12 certificate.  

- **Additional Requirements:** SAPS clearance.  

- **Experience:** Previous experience or relevant qualifications in elderly and disabled care are highly recommended.  

- **Skills:**  

  - Proficiency in **Afrikaans** and **English**.  

  - Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently.  

  - A reliable and responsible approach to caregiving.
